The advertised spread is rarely the full cost of a Forex trade. yeni traders compare Brokerlar on the headline number; experienced traders read the all-in stack. Here is the stack.

1. Spread

The bid-ask difference, paid her işlemde. On a Standard account it is widest; on an ECN/Raw account it is tighter but Komisyon is added. Spreads widen during news and at session opens — sometimes severely on minor pairs and Altın.

2. Komisyon

Lot başına fee, typically charged on raw-spread accounts. Often quoted as "$X per side per lot" or "$Y round-turn per lot". Verify which one SEN are reading.

3. Swap (overnight financing)

Hold a position past 5pm yeni York time and SEN pay or receive swap based on the interest-rate differential. Triple swap usually applies on Wednesday for Forex (to cover the weekend rollover). Some pairs and instruments swap heavily negative.

4. Slippage

The gap between the price SEN expected and the price SEN got. Negligible in deep liquidity. Painful around news, gaps, Düşük-liquidity pairs, and on stop orders during volatility.

5. Deposit and withdrawal fees

6. Inactivity fees

Many Brokerlar charge a monthly fee after a defined dormant period (commonly 90 days). Smaller balances can be eaten quickly.

7. Para birimi conversion

8. Platform / VPS / data fees

Mostly a non-issue for retail. Becomes relevant for EA users, scalpers, and anyone trading professional data feeds.

The all-in calculation

Take your typical month. Add: (lot traded × spread per lot in currency) + (lot traded × Komisyon round-turn) + (lot × average swap) + (occasional slippage estimate) + (deposit/withdrawal fees) + (inactivity if relevant). Compare Brokerlar on the all-in number, not the headline spread.
